Got this 9 drawer unit from Baltimore Artist/MICA Faculty member Timothy App’s garage, he muttered, “I’m glad your taking it”. I think it was a project App was going to do but never had the time to complete.
When I first saw this piece I thought it would make a great painted piece, I think I was right. It’s a vintage 60′s Sideboard but I think it can function as needed storage. I did, however, have to size all drawers so they would all fit nicely even with additional paint/finish applied.
I’ve been on a “Abstract” kick lately (as seen in Clocks) and the colors I used are from the Martha Stewart Collection found at Home Depot. I added the white last to create some extra contrast…
This will be offered for sale at Honfest 2010, it’s 60w x 18d x 32h, price negotiable.
