Best Of

With all the “Best Of” lists going around, I thought I’d add my 2 cents worth. Everything listed and mentioned here is a place or business I really appreciate and would find hard to live without…

Northern Liberties Philadelphia – I have to admit my stay in Philly wasn’t mind opening, I just never found alot of things I liked about the City but the Northern Liberties section of the City is IMAO the coolest place to pal around in! Northern Liberties, Best “Section/Coolest Area” in the City of Brotherly Love…

Tenpachi Salons Baltimore – This is where I get coiffed and it’s dynamite; they’re hip, affordable and good! I never could figure out why you would pay more OR how much of a better Hair Cut, Style or Dye Job one could get at double or triple the price, seriously, think about it. (I have consulted porfessionals about this and they say “it’s the rent” that determines it.) Tenpachi Salons, Best Haircut in Baltimore…

The Dizz (Dizzy Izzy’s) Remington Area of B’more – By FAR my favorite Baltimore Corner Bar!!! Always Good Food, Good Drinks and a Good Crowd is the only way to describe Dizzy’s; probably one of the few orginal corner bars that has been “converted” but yet manages to keep some of the original Ambience/Flavor, know what I mean? The Dizz, Best Corner Bar in Baltimore…

Common Ground (Hampden) – Located in Hampden on the AVENUE.  This place is the Best Pleasant Surprise for me… more in a bit

Trash-B-Gone, John Lilly Owner /Operator – Baltimore.  I have been using Trash-B-Gone for close to a decade and they are still the BEST trash removal service in all of Baltimore City and possibly all of Maryland! Fair, Honest and Hard Working is the only way to describe John Lilly and Trash-B-Gone; John started with a pick-up truck and now offers everything from small pick-up jobs to complete dumpster service.  I can recommend  with confidence John Lilly and Trash-B-Gone!  Trash-B-Gone is my Best Trash and Hauling Service  in Baltimore 443-804-9512

Ibello Upholstery – right here in Hampden, really just down the street in Remington.  Great people and even better work!

Falkenhan’s Hardware – Best little hardware store in Baltimore.  Located at 3401 Chestnut Ave on the Corner of Chestnut and 34th St, Hampden.  I’ve been going to Falkenhan’s for since the mid 1990′s and still amazed at things I can find here I just can’t seem to find at the big box stores.

Tai Chi Baltimore – if you gotta have your daily Zen, then you might want to try out Tai Chi taught by my good friend Mark Johnson, at a location near you, it you’re in Baltimore City.

More to come, stay tuned!
