34th St Lights, a Short Video

December 26th, 2008 — 10:06am

A nice video of the famous 34th St Christmas Lights in Hampden, Baltimore, MD   This “Miracle” is getting bigger and bigger.  You probably cannot fit more than 4 buses end to end on this block, but the cars, tourists and buses keep on coming, along with plenty of limos…

Enjoy!

“Baby It’s Cold Outside” Ray Charles –
“Jingle Bells” Duke Ellington –

I should be adding a few pics to this collection.  This short 1 block section in Hampden just brings everybody into the neighborhood including tourists busses!  I think the coolest lights are the ones strung across the width of 34th street.

If you hurry and see this spectacle for yourself; find a parking spot and walk and get ready for a surprise.  You’ll see some interesting things sold to keep you warm and entertained.  I have found the BEST  time to come is right around 5:00pm, weekdays or Sunday during a football game, light traffic and you might find a parking space.  The day of Christmas or the day after are great times to view too…

Good luck!

the photos above were taken Sunday the 14th @ 5:00PM  -  Don’t Disturb the Neighbors, Please Park around the Corner…
